I haven't really wrote in any of the topics and avoided them because the thought of this happening to a sibling or parent scares me and makes me too emotional. I wish you the best, stay strong. I completely understand. I don't take it personally at all. I have friends and non-immediate family who avoid me and my grief out of fear and discomfort. This horror-hell show that I'm on isn't something I wish on anyone, and I understand anyone that doesn't want to touch or get near this kind of pain. Fear of saying the wrong thing, fear of doing too much/not enough, fear of empathy for their own loved ones (like you said.) Like, I totally get it, brother.
