Topic	Why is Trump so anti-immigrant?

But he seems to extend this to Haitian and African immigrants (most of who are Christian). Do Haitians and Africans not contribute and assimilate? I was under the impression that they outperform even American blacks and were used as evidence that liberal victim rhetoric is wrong. Haitians, not really, but Africans (like Nigerians) absolutely contribute (beyond the average American) and should be welcomed. I don't think Trump was discouraging educated Africans, I think he's discouraging the North African refugees who've been fleeing to Europe by the millions and who have done a poor job of assimilating. This is consistent with his previous comments. In general, it's hard to really tell what his point was, since we only have a second-hand quote from a private meeting and have no context of what came before or after in the conversation. The guy consistently says and does shit negatively about and towards people of color and there is ALWAYS a justification as to why its not racist. One, two, three strikes he's out.
