Of course they arent going to listen to you once and never repeat bad behavior. It takes time and patience to teach children how to behave. Theres literally no reason to beat children. If you cant handle children misbehaving without resorting to violence, you shouldnt have children. Spankings made it so I didn't do bad things again. At least, not when they were around. Haha.
