Topic	The Republicans just shot themselves in the foot.
ImaAskAQuestion 01/18/18 11:22:42 PM #1:	I don't know how much the rest of you know about Political culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in North Korea where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in America, you bring shame to your party, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance. What this means is the American public, after hearing about the Government Shutdown, is not going to want to buy MAGA hats for friends or family, nor will they purchase any of Republican merchandise. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Republicans have alienated an entire market with this move.
