You can live a very good complete life with no other income off just 1 million dollars. Heck, honestly with very little effort you could probably stretch about 300k to last a full life. If you think 1 million is infinite, you might not know what infinite means. Note I said nothing about it lasting your lifetime. A life time also isn't infinite.
