| Topic | The refs carry Tom Brady to another Super Bowl with one hand. |
| WickIebee 01/21/18 8:39:43 PM #68: | MZero11 posted... yeah and Nick Foles had a passer rating of 119 in 10 games in 2013 It's large enough to see what he could do. Brock Osweiler was heavily criticized as someone who couldn't read opposition defenses, which is where a lot of mistakes came in. He at least had DeAndre Hopkins to bail him out a lot more. Watson had two, Hopkins and Fuller, as well as an okay TE that he utilized well. Fuller started out okay last year but fell apart after a Hamstring, and similarly did not do well post Watson's injury. Clearly it's just Watson knew what to do with Fuller. On the Hopkins side... Hopkins was the WR who drew the most DPI calls this season. This takes a lot of trust out of his QB to throw to him in that 1v1 coverage. Sure, that answers him having a fantastic WR and isn't exactly the same as throwing to Cooks, Amendola, and White... but that's not a bad WR core to have. He also does not have a big name TE or really one at RB. The former was CJ Fiedorowicz and the former was between D'onta Foreman and Lamar Miller. Imagine having the best TE in the NFL and a top 10 RB, instead of what he had. There's easy correlation to say that he'd do better, and with a weaker team he showed he could perform better than Brady. He just ended up injured because of that worse team. --- Visual novels are video games too. Shut up Scarlet. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
