Carlos - The previous two games, and other games with similarities to this one, have the main character be super-important to the overarching plot. I would totally be content if that weren't the case. All I really ask of my main characters that are put into these situations is to be relatable and not garbage. I'm getting off-point, but to circle around, Carlos, Q, and Diana are the team leaders. Therefore, they are the main characters, wiith Carlos being the head honcho due to his role in the opening scene. Why was that the case though?

All three have claimed that they weren't in control of their actions and all three have refused to escape via the elevator for cryptic reasons (Q claims because of Gab, Carlos because "he wants to save everyone in a different timeline, and Diana because ?) when given the chance (though Diana did so in Outbreak) so there's two glaring connections between the three.

Gun to head, my first theory is that Carlos is Zero, Diana is his assistant, and Q is Carlos' sister in some way, shape, or form. Even if that isn't remotely close to the truth, they have to be the three most important characters to the overarching plot. Everything adds up to that being the case.

Junpei - He has a great disdain for Free the Soul, and since I discovered through a file that Free the Soul owns DCOM, I'm sure there's a storyline that can be made there where Junpei became Zero to put the nail in Free the Soul's coffin as much as to prevent things from going awry in the future as it is to torture Free the Soul after the affect that they had on his life and his inability to process that. I mean Akane had it way worse for obvious reasons, but it's clear that she's already a lost cause. Junpei is in the process of being a lost cause, so there's some wiggle room there.

I think that there is a non-zero chance that Q is in fact Quark and that Zero is future Junpei from a timeline where he still meets Quark. Because of his affinity for Quark, he desperately wants Quark to be a part of his life even in timelines where Quark wouldn't exist due to the prevention of the R-6 pandemic. He then does that Transporter Room thing with Q in a different timeline, or maybe something about that soul reincarnation, or maybe Q is manufactured (no blood remember) but has some memories or whatever of the real Quark. If that reads as crazy nonsense, that's because it is, but it's just a thought.

Akane - All I want to know is why did she remain crazed in Suspicion on one decision, and in the other, she settled down and regained her composure. I'm wondering if this is a morphogenetic field thing, but I'm just really hoping that this isn't pulling a VLR where jarring shifts in individual ideology are just done on a whim.
