You mentioning that psychology exists does not in any way make your notion of "basic human nature" more of a fact. I mean, feel free to elaborate! What is the consensus within the field of psychology as to what defines basic human nature? Bonus points if you can justify why any definition within psychology is more "correct" than, say, a definition within anthropology.
