I'm more a resin statue or higher end pvc figure guy. I also much prefer amiibo figures to pops. I haven't bought a single pop yet and probably will never. I don't see long term interest in them and values will bomb one day in the near future. While I'm not a big fan of the Pop! style, they do a lot of off-style stuff that looks reasonably nice. As for Amiibo, most don't look that great up close. Sure, they have fewer QC issues than Disney Infinity or Skylanders (which have neat designs but atrocious QC), but the designs just kinda suck.
