Ive successfully been able to get around a set in stone drop deadline before through a bit of bureaucratic back and forth but good luck on getting around a refund issue.

I tried to initiate that but I got stonewalled. They said there's nothing they can do. How did you proceed?

My case was for a class that I had a 70 something in and decided to drop since i was trending to maybe failing but the teacher reached out to me and said there were some gimme assignments at the end of the semester so I should get back in - but this was already a week after the last drop deadline. But I got the head of the department to email the register people and they got me back in even though it definitely shouldnt have been allowed by the books. And this was after I had gone to the registrar in person and they firmly told me no. Youre fucked though (tbh), colleges thrive off those refund deadlines. Cant make exceptions there...unless you possibly have an extreme sob story, but itd have to be some next level shit.
