why do people say 64 is good? its a dated ass n64 game

never played it tho

It's still plenty playable especially on the virtual console. Haven't played odyssey yet, 64 is probably my favorite with sunshine as a close second.

tbh, I kinda prefer the DS version, yes, maybe even the controls, it feels less slippery and kinda more responsive (and the camera is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 64's)

Never played the DS version, looks really clean and polished though. I would assume it's the most optimized.

it's quite good, has 4 characters, new missions, and a minimap in the touch screen, but the problem most people have is that the DS doesn't have an analog stick/circle pad (though you can use the touch screen too, but unless you have that thumb strap from early into the DS' lifespan, it'll probably be even worse), and IDK if others have this problem, but in my ds and 3ds, there have been moments where the triggers stopped working, which can be a problem since you use the R trigger to ground pound (unless you use a configuration in which you have to use the touch screen to move)

This is basically why I haven't tried it. I can see myself getting really frustrated trying to play it without an actual stand alone controller. Tbh, on mobile I don't really like playing anything other than top down, 2d sprite, and side scrolling type games. So I don't bother with handheld gaming anymore.
