Topic	anyone else vegan?

That hypothetical actually gets brought up a lot, plants feel pain too! Basically they dont, evolutionarily it wouldnt make sense. Animals operate on the hedonistic sense of seeking pleasure and avoiding pain. Since plants can move or fight or anything like that, it would be a useless adaptation for them to be able to feel pain or emotions. But somehow, if we discovered that they did, in fact, feel pain, the reality is that we need to eat plants to survive (and for clothes, building, etc). If we didnt eat plants, wed die. We can live without animals or their lactations/periods as food.
