I think you can consider it almost the full experience if you just play one side.

Well, there was one choice that I made without even realizing what I was choosing because the game made it difficult for you to tell what you had to do, which was kind of a bummer. I don't think it changed much of anything though, and it's probably the choice I'd have made anyway.
