Topic	Cloverfield Paradox is connected to the first film

But that was when Paramount was in charge of the IP, and they sold it to Netflix fairly recently including the finished Cloverfield Paradox, which iirc was originally a different movie that was re-tooled called God Particle. Now with the Super Bowl spot I'm really confused as to where this movie falls in the universe and what direction it's going in. Paramount sold distribution rights for this movie. All Cloverfield movies are developed like this movie - interesting and fitting spec scripts are bought, produced as is, then after test screenings they Cloverfield it up. --- ICON: Well!
