The domain change allows us to have more frequent contests as a result of the increase in ad revenue produced by combining GameFAQs and GameSpot traffic numbers together. This was a major problem over the past few years as we've had only 2 major site contests after 2011 (plus the Years Contest last year). Allen posted this message a few weeks ago: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/6-gamefaqs-announcements/76238326 Secondly, we will also be committing to running contests more often and with larger prizes. You can look forward to the next GameFAQs sitewide contest this summer.
