He explains his motives pretty well if you go watch the relevant scenes. You're not supposed to feel sorry for him, you're supposed to be able to empathize with what he went through. The guy lived his entire life ruled by the one being that destroyed his planet, being unattached from everything except his own strength was the only way he could survive. Then that very strength he worked his entire life for got surpassed by someone he considered lower class over and over again and also by an 11 yo kid. He just wanted to regain some of the pride he lost by being able to surpass Goku. After their fight he felt he was his equal was content with killing himself to undo the wrongs he had done in order to finally gain that power he desperately wanted. As for burning in hell, that's exactly what happened to him when he died, and he knew that going in and still did it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
