Ignorant magas don't understand that the not-so-hidden backbone of our economy is undocumented employees.

Imagine for a second what would happen to the price of orange juice, to use just one example, if all illegals picking oranges were deported and replaced with minimum wage workers.

Think of how many industries have jobs like this relying on that low paid labor.

I'm not passing judgment on whether this is a good or bad thing, but to suddenly strip away that class of worker will have severe economic effects.

It would cut into their profit margins, they'd regroup, and the market would stabilize. Sure, it might be higher, but it won't be astronomical.

Employers who hire illegals are a huge part of the problem, and they peddle this bullshit all the time.
