Personally I think that money can contribute to happiness, but to imply it is a r=1.0 correlation is a gross oversimplification of things.

It does.

Im constantly worrying that something will happen that will cost a fortune in medical bills.

School is expensive as hell.

Buying and making a home is expensive as hell.

Cars and car maintenance and gas are expensive as hell.

If I had money to cover ALL of that, I wouldnt worry, and if I wasnt worrying, Id be very happy.

Honestly I cant believe there are people out there who think money CANT bring happiness.
So if you found out you had terminal cancer, your mother got raped, your best friend killed your father, and the love of your life just committed suicide your saying as long as you had money you'd be happy? If you answer no then you're contradicting yourself. If money=happiness, and if I wasnt worrying doesn't matter because all other factors other than whether you have money are irrelevant to happiness. If anything you seem to be arguing more that lack of money causes unhappiness, which isn't really the same thing.

A lot of people seem to be mistaking the question as whether money correlates with happiness, but as it is currently worded that is not what the question is asking.
