Whether some people have acted like clowns about it or not, BLM stands for being against unjust police brutality against black people. If you're against it because of a few clowns, and need to invalidate it with ALM, then "Black lives matter less" is certainly how it feels. And let's not be disingenuous, ALM started waaay before BLM ever started doing any stupid shit. People saw that people were saying BLM, and thought it was witty to say ALM because they were insecure. They essentially interpreted "White lives don't matter" from "Black lives matter." If my dog got injured and is in the hospital, and I say "I hope my dog gets better" why would you tell me "you mean, you hope all dogs get better?"
