#30:

I dreaded the day I would be turning 30. I always felt like I was officially entering adulthood and was leaving everything typically associated with someone being in their twenties, such as partying, college, having fun, starting a career, going out and trying new things, enjoying life, etc. Not saying you can't do these things outside your twenties, but that's what I've come to associate with those in the 20-29 age range.

I turned 30 as I was stocking shelves in a grocery store with less than a semester towards obtaining my Master's with no real job in sight, still living at home with my mom, and making less than $20k a year.

Feels bad, man. I'm with you tc. I'm fortunate enough to share the struggle with an awesome woman, but that can only help so much. Turning 30 was the worst. I agree with you to a certain extent. If I had only started a career in my twenties, life past 30 wouldn't be so bad/hard.
