America ditching isolationism benefitted nobody. Everything is vastly more unstable today than it otherwise probably would've been globally. WWI would have almost certainly ended in a more even peace treaty without any US involvement (including smuggling arms in passenger ships), so it's very unlikely there'd have been much (if any) fuel for the Nazi fire a couple of decades later. Then the east... Stalin was happy to sit behind his iron curtain and marvel at his version of Russia. He didn't want a war with Europe or to "unite all the workers of the world" like Trotsky. His agenda was based on paranoia rather than the desire for conquest.
