Topic	why doesn't america do anything about its gun violence issues?

You cry about guns but schools have done hardly anything to keep the kids safe. No guards. Teachers can't carry. A lot are without metal detectors. Is that the new normal now? Schools are just expected to be filled with guards and metal detectors? Like school operates like a prison now? Not to mention our education system barely gets the money it needs, so how are these even going to be implemented disregarding the ridiculousness of it.
