That's a big part of why most people are ok with it, they don't see the pig beforehand, they just have it served to them, so there's no emotional attachment when they eat it. Dogs however are seen much more frequently, so it's harder for people to jump that mental gap. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? Hes so cute.'
