It seems we are getting to a point where the massacre of kids is just becoming another thing we shrug off and ignore in america now. It is easy to say "no! this is horrifying and will always break our hearts!" but when nothing is even attempted to be done to stop it happening again... what else is anyone reasonably left to think? Other countries took strong and proper measures in the wake of school shootings and it worked tremendously well.
