Maybe you'd forgive a Nazi who experimented on children as long as they said "my bad" (which a bunch of them did) too? Nope because that implies a sustained and numerous amount of actions rather than a single impulsive action. Not sure why people are struggling so hard to understand this basic concept and then attempt to setup strawmen. --- Sometimes people come along and they want to change things.
