For one, it was a straight-up pyramid scheme. The guy told us that you only get paid comission and that he (the supervisor) gets paid more for employees selling more. Hell, they had to be intentionally vague and dishonest about the "interview" just to get people to show up there.
Second, it was literally door-to-door life insurance sales. Like, how do you even handle that with any amount of tact? *old lady answers door* "Hi ma'am, you look like you're going to die soon; please give us your money."
I am kind of a life insurance agent but not in that way. ---
