But even if that were the case superhero/comic book adaptations are in a much different place now than back then. They're far more mainstream and actually taken somewhat seriously now. There's also the whole thing of Snipes being black but the rest of the cast was as usual. Not really the same thing as having a legit big budget title with a majority black cast. --- ...
