The Downward Spiral was an ok album, but I've never heard anything from Reznor worthy of all the praise he gets Pretty Hate Machine (debut album) is a classic of diy album making. My favorite is their ep Broken, thats an awesome album. I like select cuts off all their other albums. Downward Spiral is overrated for sure but its well made. But Reznor has better songwriting elsewhere. All his albums are really well produced and thats always been where Reznor has made his money.
