WHY do men resort to guns? I was just thinking about this too. People like to throw out that its mentally disturbed people, but women can be mentally disturbed too. People throw out that its guns, but women have guns too. But why is it men that are doing these things, when there are MANY women with guns, including mentally disturbed women. What is it about our culture that leads men down those pathways (and not women, in the same way). That's something we can/should deal with. Unless the argument is that it's just males' nature to be violent?

Men are also more likely to hang themselves than women. The only real reason I've heard for why men us the methods they do compared to women is that women don't want to leave an ugly corpse.
