While I don't want to discount testosterone as a factor completely, I'm hesitant to say that it plays a significant contribution. Aggression is often an immediate reaction as opposed to a planned action. Testosterone-fueled aggression implies a strong emotional reaction to some situation. Mass shootings, on the other hand, seem more like conscious efforts to enforce their will on their surroundings. Again, testosterone may play a role in that as well, but I don't think that role is as large as one might initially expect.
