| K181 02/18/18 11:45:05 PM #105: | BvS killed my interest in the DC franchise aside from Wonder Woman standalone films. It'll take phenomenal reviews and word of mouth for me to really go see one of their films now, much in the same way that I had no interest in seeing either Garfield Spider-Man film or the recent X-Men films. I can't even guess how many reliable movie-goers like me were just turned off by the franchise and their interest was just killed as well. Meanwhile, Marvel films are at least consistently entertaining, though there have been occasional ones like Ant-Man that I didn't see out of lack of interest. Black Panther at least looks interesting, so I'll give it a shot. There have been misses, but there's still a track record of quality in there and banked goodwill for me. --- The poster formerly known as Kakarot181: July 2, 2002 - March 14, 2012.
