| Joelypoely 02/20/18 6:50:52 PM #1: | Firstly, I only ever see this on the internet and have never heard it used in real life, yet somehow it's incredibly popular on sites such as Reddit (maybe it's an American thing?). Secondly, aren't the terms we have for relationships enough? Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Partner, Fiance, Husband/Wife; that covers almost every popular and necessary classification.
