Topic | Do you still have your TI-83 Calculator? |
InfestedAdam 02/23/18 10:39:18 AM #20: | I think mine was the TI-83 Plus. Oddly enough I stopped using it in college and just used a scientific calculator, the Texas fx-115ES. I forgot my exact reasoning but either the TI-83 Plus broke and/or I had to get use to the scientific calculator anyway since our engineering license exam only allow certain scientific calculators. Hell, I think some of my professors didn't allow graphing calculators. Zeus posted... I refused to have one bought for me and, in retrospect, it was probably a stupid decision because not having one put me at a bit of a disadvantage. How so? I can't recall if there was a time that I truly needed the graphing or programming capability of the TI-83 Plus in high school or college. Granted the larger screen to make sure I entered the numbers correctly was convenient. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo! Go for the eyes!" ...
