50% of the songs from that era (or at least the ones that still get played) were a G C Em D chord progression or something else just as basic. Most of the Beatles discography can be played by someone who has only been learning the guitar for several weeks. Drum patterns in almost every song from that era were basic as fuck compared to modern drum patterns. Why are THOSE the music gods?
