What's to be kept honest if none of those things will happen?the start of a authoritarian system starts small to the point that you may not see anything wrong with it at first or think its negligible. you get told more and more what you can and cant do, what you can and cant buy, what you can and cant look at. they install more and more rules that peck away at your liberties until you are left with nothing, but a husk of a society. guns are a means of keeping the system in check and blocking what the govt. can and cant get away with. they are a deterrent of the system and is something thats ALWAYS restricted first to set up that system. ...
