You expected the game to be something its not. It wasnt intended to be Heavenly Sword with The Witness puzzles. It was intended to tell a story. The gameplay is perfectly fine. The combat and puzzles, while shallow, are serviceable to the game and function well. Fine if you didnt like it. Different strokes for different folks.
