But if you are giving away a years worth of fruit for free, you know that everything in those bags are paid for, right? By somebody who then chose to give them away for free. It's an act of charity toward people who have no need of charity, which is just wasteful. Not all the noms are super wealthy, you know. Especially those from the foreign or short animation categories. But really, I have no problem with those that acted and worked hard getting gifts on the night meant to recognize them.
