How long does it normally take to write a FAQ from start to finish? Also, what goes into the planning process? Do you normally have a template for your FAQs, or do you write them as you play through the game simultaneously? Additionally, do you only write information that you found, or do you search for extra info that maybe you didn't know yourself and apply it to your FAQ? Genuinely interested 'cause I kind of wanted to write a FAQ for a while now, but never really saw the point, time wise.

1. It takes me months to cover every pixel, every secret, in a game. I take my time and do it right.

2. Before even starting a new file in the GameFAQs text editor, I studied and wrote down the order of in-game collectibles. I have four separate Word files in a Folder on my computer.

3. It took an unimaginable amount of testing, reading, and eyeballing to effectively cover every Plasmid, Gene Tonic, and weapon in my BioShock 2 guide.

Studying and testing is the key to good science.

Doing God's work. If God was a GFAQs user anyway.
