The whole story revolves around Max's obsession with saving Chloe, but I didn't like Chloe, and the story additionally never gave any justification for why Max was so specifically obsessed with saving Chloe over almost anything else. She meets Chloe by accident after not being in contact with and not even thinking about Chloe for years and suddenly Chloe is her obsession. --- The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.
