Since you know that bad guys DO currently have guns, if one came into your room tonight would you rather have a gun to defend yourself or any of the shit you mentioned? Obviously I would rather have a gun, but what I was getting at was that if they outlawed the sale of guns entirely, it'd be almost impossible to acquire a gun unless you stole it from a police officer or a soldier. And in that case, someone is breaking into my house, I'm either going to leave my house, if possible, or use a baseball bat.
