Can you ever just see the bigger picture instead of always deflecting with "not all!"?
How's a minority in a single province a reflection of that country's bigger picture? Does the rest of the country have this issue?
Because it all boils down to Islam and it's hatred of free sexuality or even freaking dating. This is a common trend across the world with religion.
Here we saw a couple have sewage poured on them because of promiscuity. Elsewhere people are being beaten for the same thing and elsewhere people are being killed for the same thing. And everytime there's one common denominator that you guys always deflect away from.
You're ignoring the effects that Islam has on the rest of the country just to shit on the religion as a whole. Aren't you the guy that's all about culture? Doesn't this story suggest an issue with the culture of that one province in Indonesia? What's the rest of the country like? Do they also shit on women like those people do?
