If you work in a white collar office setting job now, its pretty much expected. I once got a call on a Sunday morning while I was getting ready for church from a customer who my boss had given my personal cell number. A shipment I had ordered from one of my vendors cleared customs a day late, so we were gong to keep a refinery shut down for a whole day. I almost quit my job that day because that was crap. I even told my boss as much. I don't check my work emails off the clock.
