It's not like other pizza places are closing down. Papa John's simply isn't making a product people are willing to pay for. It's their fault.


Inflated labor costs hit the most vulnerable businesses first.


Clearly they aren't very good at running a business if an increase cost kills them completely.


A lot of people are giving Trump shit because a trade war will make particular commodities more expensive and endanger certain US companies. Just apply that logic here.


Those businesses aren't completely closing up shop. They'll deal with the increased price and sure that might mean laying off some workers.

Papa Johns is literally throwing the towel, because instead of changing their ways they would rather go out of business.
