Economics 101. If you make a commodity artificially expensive, you discourage its use. Leftists understand this when they want to understand it, like when they call for carbon taxes.


It's not like other pizza places are closing down. Papa John's simply isn't making a product people are willing to pay for. It's their fault.


Inflated labor costs hit the most vulnerable businesses first.


Clearly they aren't very good at running a business if an increase cost kills them completely.

Their profit margins are razor thin as it is. Increases in any cost mean either prices go up, or stores close down.


Which is still only a problem they are having. Other pizza places are still in business. They have a poor business strategy and are blaming anyone but themselves.
