Just googled it and found an article from last year saying that Robert Rodriguez will direct a remake of Escape from New York, which is a damn shame in my opinion. Dont get me wrong I do like Robert Rodriguez, but Escape from New York doesnt need a remake, its perfect the way it is. I would much prefer it if they expanded on its universe like Blade Runner 2049 did.
Going to call it and say The Rock will be Snake >_>
