While I was joking about being anti-prostitution, legalizing it would incentivize girls towards it, even if you control for the problems associated with it, it seems like an inherently unhealthy (mentally) lifestyle and career choice. Part of me, maybe the white knight part of my brain, wants to reject it solely as icky. It's basically the last career option any father would want for their daughter. Maybe it's ineffable, maybe it's paternalism, protectionist, maybe it's sexist. I dunno . .
