Also a lot of it comes from just getting up when you wake up in the middle of the night. Like sometimes I'll wake up at 3 in the morning then just get up.


I don't fall asleep immediately but I factor this into my sleep schedule. The trick is to force yourself awake daily at the same time so that you fall asleep at the same time. When my sleep hygiene was bad I would usually say (oh maybe just another 30 minutes on my phone or computer!) and that would ruin the schedule.

I'd be careful with these pills. Even melatonin is dangerous to use regularly given how you become dependent on the drugs over time.
