Incorrect. Every buddy was useful in their own way and provided great support when I needed it.

Not really. Made the game a bit more of a challenge at each milestone thus leading up to a inevitable boss fight.

I get the impression you haven't even played the game because if you did you would know this is a load of shit. Enemies spawn frequently until you liberate a outposts thus "pushing back" against the cult. Ammo is always found as enemies always have weapons. Looting the corpse get's you many things too. You would know this though if you've played the game.


I didn't say the buddies were useless, just that it was superficial and didn't add much to the game. Just felt like a poorly done, weak mechanic that could be flaunted at game conferences as a new feature.

Joseph seed was a terrible villain; faith seed was the only half decent one of the 3 lesser bosses that had a decent story, but the rest was as generic as it gets.

The "challenges" at each milestone were pathetic and just added more busywork if anything. The only cool part were those squads that actively hunted you, but those wound up being vehicles to drive the story.

Corpse looting seldom gives ammo for weapons other than ARs or snipers, and the whole purchasing ammo mechanic has just been busywork since FC 3.
