Brothers in Arms

This one is one of the bigger tragedies imo

Brothers in Arms was ahead of its time in a lot of ways I think. A strategic WW2 shooter with a big focus on story? Seems like that would be a bigger hit now than back then. Back then people just overlooked it as a generic WW2 shooter which were a dime a dozen back then I think.

True Crime

True Crime is extra sad because it changed into Sleeping Dogs and still died.

that's what happened? ugh...

I loved True Crime.

Yeah originally Sleeping Dogs was True Crime: Hong Kong (it even has a similar concept really). Activision cancelled it and Square-Enix saved it and they rebranded it as Sleeping Dogs. I think it didn't sell that great and was deeply discounted.

The Sleeping Dogs developers then tried to make an open world multiplayer game and got shut down.

RIP
