The real reason it was made was because it could fire a nuke with a railgun, rendering it invisible to conventional tracking methods. RAY is a reasonable frontline thing IMO. Gekko even moreso. Touch posted... CarlGrimes posted...Part of it is the intimidation factor. Seeing a giant metal beast coming at you is far more intimidating than a tank. The Shagohad is, I'm almost sure, solely meant to be a nuke-firing thing.
